About me

Patricia is Artist in Residence at the Cornell Center for Historical Keyboards and Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University, where she integrates performance, interdisciplinary research, and teaches fortepiano and chamber music. Patricia also serves on the faculty of the Cambridge Center for International Research. A versatile musician, she has won numerous international piano and fortepiano competitions, and her brilliant career has already given rise to numerous concert tours throughout the world. With her repertoire choices and research, she strives for enhancing overlooked musicking practices and outreaching to audiences who tend to connect rarely with classical music. Recent highlights include being named “Early Music America Emerging Artist”, performing as soloist with the Smithsonian Academy Orchestra, being featured at the Berkeley and Bloomington Early Music Festivals, and releasing an album with the complete piano works of Pauline Viardot. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Historical Keyboard Society of North America, the Westfield Center for Historical Keyboard Studies, and Early Music America. Patricia co-hosts the popular program International Fortepiano Salon, and co-directs the extensive online resource ||:HerClassical:||
